How You Can Help
Become a Founding Benefactor
We are seeking gifts and grants towards our outstanding funding requirement of £955,000 and must raise these funds by Spring 2027. If we do not, we are at risk of losing the opportunity to purchase the properties. They would then be sold on the open market to the highest bidder and the interiors and artefacts will be lost as a unique collection. Pledges to make a gift of any size are most welcome. Just let us know how much you would like to commit and we will keep in touch when are ready to receive your kind gift. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Become an Ambassador
Help by introducing us to philanthropists who might be interested in joining and supporting the project. There are other ways you can help too, by being part of our wider team, endorsing our work to your friends and colleagues and attending events. There are many different communities that we are seeking to engage with, so making introductions to people with different specialist interests is immensely helpful to us. We are also seeking high profile Patrons to endorse our work to a wider audience – do you know anyone that would fit the bill? Please join us on our mission.
We need Volunteers
Projects like these simply are not possible without the time and goodwill offered by a range of volunteers. We will need guides, help with merchandise, catering, security, care of the house, its collections and contents including cleaning and sorting, maintenance and repairs. If you want to help and have time that you give regularly or only occasionally when the need arises, please get in touch or leave us your name.
Partner with us
We want to join the already burgeoning party of heritage and arts organisations in Cirencester and wider region. We are keen to work with our colleagues to enhance the local offer and make an impact on the tourist trail for the town. We are in the early stages of developing our vision, so welcome conversations now about how we can join in and support like-minded organisations.
We are advertising for Trustees
We are due to start a recruitment process for new Trustees as we change our structure from a CIC to a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). These appointments will be made by application and interview. In particular, we are seeking people with the following skills: Accountancy (to become our Hon Treasurer); PR, Marketing and Communications; Heritage, Museum, Curatorial skills. Please do let us know if you, or people you know, would be interested in applying.
